Joyce Shaw is currently employed by Baltimore City Public Schools as a middle school English Language Arts teacher. She has diverse experiences with teaching that include teaching pre-school aged students to read, homeschooling her own three children for over sixteen years, managing a college and career center, and serving as a Baltimore City Literacy Improvement Science Fellow.
