Debra Taylor is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and has lived in Columbia, Maryland for over 30 years. She attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 1980 through 1984 and graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. After moving to Columbia, Maryland in 1990, Debra joined Norwest Bank which later became Wells Fargo Bank. Debra worked in the Corporate Trust Department as Vice President for 13 years. She then joined the District of Columbia Government where she is currently the Debt Manager in the Office of Finance and Treasury and has been with the District for 14 years. Debra’s daughters attended school in the Howard County Public School System, and Debra participated in various community activities such as PTA and Jack and Jill of America. Debra also participates as a member of the Government Finance Officers Association and the League of Women Voters. Debra serves as Treasurer for our organization.
